American Home Equity Mortgage was founded in 2004. We were founded with the basic principle that people should be treated right. Not sold to, but given honest and upfront information and advice so that you can make an informed decision on your home financing. We don’t have any fancy taglines or jingles. No famous celebrities or talk show hosts expounding on how great we are. In fact, we don’t advertise. Our business comes solely from referrals and past clients.
ABOUT MARK
Mark started in the loan business in 1998 as a loan officer for a large mortgage company. In 2004, he got his Brokers license from the California Department of Real Estate and started American Home Equity Mortgage that same year. After 20 years, he's seen pretty much every scenario imaginable (and even a few unimaginable).
Mark has lived in the San Diego area most of his life. He graduated from Coronado High School and later attended California Lutheran University. While there, he lettered 3 years in football. Oh yeah, and graduated with a degree in Marketing & Advertising, too. He moved to the Eastlake area in 2001 and still lives there today with his beautiful wife Christy and his pretty cool daughters Madison and Riley. If he's not in the office, he's probably driving one of them to dance, cheer or soccer practice.
